Materials and How to Get Help

Software and Materials

The only software you need for this course is QGIS. It is free and open source and works across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. For instruction in this course, I’m using QGIS version 3.32. I have also tested the analyses with the latest long-term release, version 3.34.

You can download and install QGIS from https://qgis.org.

All the data I use for this course is available for download in the next lesson. In the course, I also demonstrate how to identify, locate, and download the data from their sources.
